My husband and I purchased our first home together in 2004, building from the ground up. There are so many advantages to building a brand new home, I would definitely do it all over again, especially knowing what I know now.
These are pictures from our first home.
The foyer entrance, my husband installed the picture frames on the 2 story foyer walls.
Honey oak floors were all the rage in the early 2000’s.
We installed and painted all the picture box wainscoting throughout the house.
Shortly after we moved in and had the whole house painted beige, my grey obsession started.
One of my first renovation projects was to repaint the living room to more modern grey tones.
This is the re-designed dining room after I made a costly mistake with my first design…check out that post (HERE).
Powder room – still love the Kohler sink and toilet. We used them in our second home powder room reno as well, check out that post (HERE)
Family Room – added all the moldings around the windows, doors and see-thru. Check out that post (HERE).

Thanks for stopping by. See you next time.
Looks nice, a really elegant home! However the sort-a coral color in the kitchen is not my favorite! Anyways looks good!
Thanks! Color trends change so quickly..its hard to keep up.
Thank you!
