The official start to the Fall season is quickly approaching, roughly a week away. Unofficially, I have been preparing for the arrival of this lovely season for a while now, well…since summer. I like to shop early for seasonal home decor while the pickings are still good.
This Fall season, I am thrilled to team up with very talented ladies, to participate in a Fall Blog Hop. We have joined together to bring you some beautiful Fall Tablescape ideas. If you are joining from the awesome Clover Lane Blog (HERE) home of sisters Cassie and Sadie, welcome!
As I mentioned, I have been in Fall mode for a while now. Recently, I wrote a post about Fall mantel decor (HERE) and suggested ideas on how to style a fireplace.
Today, I am going to use several of the items I used to decorate our mantel, to create a couple different Tablescapes. The pieces I used are so interchangeable, they can be used in any room of the home.
This first Tablescape is rustic and refined, using soft finishes.

In keeping with a gold, white, and silver theme for the table, a simple centerpiece containing roses is used with a textured white vase.
Ceramic pumpkins with gold tones are used to anchor the table.
Rustic chargers from Kirklands (HERE) are paired with Waterford Crystal Goblets (HERE) and silver flatware (HERE), combining rustic and refined elements.
Using a white linen table runner (HERE), I added candles, small pumpkins, and candlesticks.
I went with a non-traditional silverware place setting, where knife, fork, and spoon are placed on the left side.
White linen napkins (HERE) are set on off-white plates.
Used my favorite cake stand (HERE) with the perfect gold and marble accents to add height to a pumpkin.
Fresh hydrangeas and lilies are paired with a silver vase.
Using mixed metals (silver and gold) is always a pretty combination.
A simple fresh stem tucks into the white napkin.
A side tray holds aperitifs. The tray has been painted with milk paint, check out post (HERE).
I created this Fall tablescape in our kitchen, especially when serving dinners, buffet style, the kitchen location is key.
Here’s another Tablescape using darker elements, giving the setting a more dramatic appearance.
Adding black tones to the table makes for a striking presentation.
Using gold chargers (HERE) also gives the table a more dramatic look.
Added in colorful blooms to off-white distressed vases.
Opened up the doors to the outside, and the room immediately becomes more inviting.
And used the traditional fork and knife place setting.

Beautiful! Love the white and gold – especially with the wood. 👏 Can’t wait to switch out my mantle. Taking me a little longer to let go of the beachy stuff. 😢 But I did buy mums today, so I’m getting there!
So happy you liked it Eileen! It’s hard to let go of summer I know, I really enjoy warmer weather. Enjoy those mums…I have to pick up a few as well. Thanks for the reminder.
