How do you combine two holidays? A little of each. A little Thanksgiving and a little Christmas.
Here is a bit of Thanksgiving inspiration if you are struggling to find a happy medium between the two holidays. Thanksgiving is later this year, leaving us one less weekend between the two holidays so you may feel inclined to start decorating for Christmas early this year. I feel ya…;)
Our home is mostly decorated for Christmas right now with a little sprinkling of Fall and Thanksgiving. I love the Thanksgiving holiday and especially enjoy the family time. Last week I shared My Favorite Thanksgiving Day Turkey Recipe & Tips for a Stress Free Holiday.
Today I am sharing our Thanksgiving table for 12. My table this year is more on the casual side. We will eat in the kitchen which is very conducive to serving buffet style. As I mentioned in my prior post, I try to prepare as much as possible before Thanksgiving Day. This year, I set the table a week early, one task checked off my list! I’ll head to the grocery store on Monday and start preparing my sides on Tuesday and Wednesday.
I’m not sure I will have all my trees decorated by Thursday, but I will try my best! I picked up some wreaths this week for the outside of the house. They are live wreaths, so I hope they will stay fresh, they are in the garage now and I have sprayed them with water. I hope to have them hung by Thanksgiving with my hubby’s help.
Now onto the table set for Thanksgiving Dinner.

Check out my youTube Video of our Thanksgiving Table and Christmas tree. I just started a Youtube channel for Happy Haute Home. Not gonna lie, totally awkward filming these videos and my kids are the cameramen…laughing most of the time!!
I wish you all the very happiest of Thanksgivings and hope you have a very blessed day with your families and friends!
A lot more Christmas Decor coming your way so stay tuned!
