When what to my wondering eyes did appear, but a miniature sleigh and eight tiny rein-deer.
With a little old driver so lively and quick, I knew in a moment he must be St. Nick.More rapid than eagles his coursers they came, and he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name.
“Now, Dasher! Now, Dancer! Now Prancer and Vixen! On, Comet! On, Cupid! On, Donner and Blitzen!
To the top of the porch! To the top of the wall!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!”
He sprang to his sleigh, to his team gave a whistle, And away they all flew like the down of a thistle. But I heard him exclaim, ere he drove out of sight—“Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night!”
What a pleasant surprise and total joy to see Santa’s reindeers visit my home Christmas week…and pose for pictures 🙂

Ha – they’re DARLING! So quick of you to zip out there with your camera and take their portraits with your gorgeous home in the background! How does Bentley like them? 🙂 Happy Day After Christmas my friend! ❤
LOL, I happen to be driving home and noticed the reindeer on our lawn! I quickly snapped a couple pics and was shocked they didn’t run away! They are getting very bold 🙂 Bentley hates them 🤣 If he’s looking out the window and barking…most likely it’s because of deer on our lawn! Hope your Christmas was wonderful Barbara!
But where was Rudolph? Love your painted brick!
Good question Joni!! Rudolph was missing..I think he was still at the North pole getting ready to load the sleigh 🙂 Merry Christmas friend!
