My Favorite Summer Desserts

Summertime, summertime, sum sum summertime…how I love summer! Hot weather, blooming flowers, lazy days by the pool and cold drinks.

Summertime is funtime…lake life, swimming, pool parties, boating, camping, fishing, hiking…all fun things to do when the weather is warm. We also entertain more often and want some easy treats to have on hand when friends pop over.

I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite summer desserts that will have you entertaining in style! You’ll notice a theme to all my favorite summer desserts, they all include fruit.

My Favorite Summer Desserts

My first favorite any time of the year dessert but also especially yummy in the summertime is my Strawberry Trifle.

Strawberry and Creme Trifle

 Desserts with strawberries and creme is always a crowd pleaser. This dessert has taken me some time to perfect by playing around with the ingredients and sweetness and I think you will love it as much as my family does.

Black Forest Trifle Cake

 If you like cherries in your dessert, you will love this rich decadent dessert. This Black Forest Recipe is loaded with chocolate goodness and creme, another real crowd pleaser.

Patriotic No Bake Flag Cheesecake

This easy, no bake dessert is perfect for summer. Using fresh strawberries and blueberries you can create a patriotic dessert for July 4, labor day, veteran’s day or any day in between.

Ganache Drip Cake

If you are looking to really impress your guests, try a ganache drip cake. Decorated with chocolate covered strawberries and macaroons, this impressive dessert is not only gorgeous but delicious too. The cake is made with multiple layers and will have your guests talking for days. A definite go to for your next fancy event 🙂
