Traveling to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve 2021 (Part One)

Is it really 2022?! Happy New Year to my blogging friends!

Our family traveled to Las Vegas for New Year’s Eve. We spent much of our time enjoying the beautiful holiday displays presented by many of the top hotels in the country.

We stayed at the Venetian Hotel in the newest tower called the Palazzo.

The lobby has a magnificent wishing tree for guests to enjoy.

A large canal runs through the hotel and offers gondola rides.

The lighting is incredible, each crystal has a light on the tip.

The lobby Christmas decor is a sight to see.

The LOVE sign is a huge attraction for guests. You will rarely see it empty, guests love to pose and take pictures in front of it.

Magnificent Christmas trees displayed throughout the lobby.

The Wynn hotel has another spectacular holiday display.

With over 8,000 poinsettias and dozens of live trees lit, it’s easy to see why people travel thousands of miles to visit at Christmastime.

Las Vegas Holiday Displays on Video

You know how much I love Christmas and taking in all the sights meant a lot to me. As you can imagine, I took a ton of video clips of these beautiful displays. I invite you to view the video HERE.  In fact, I have so much video, I had to break up the segments into three parts. This is part one. In this video, I show you our suite at the Palazzo, and the incredible display in the lobby of our hotel and the Wynn. I hope you enjoy the video as much as I love sharing it. There is a lot more to come!

  1. Oh SO gorgeous! Thanks for sharing these with us – I would never have thought about how wonderfully the Vegas hotels would decorate, but now that you mention it, it makes perfect sense! I’ll have to put that on my list one of these years! LOVE your fabulous photos! Off to your video! 🙂

    1. Las Vegas has really changed over the years Barbara and part of it has become very high end…and super expensive! It was fun seeing all the holiday goodness, hope you enjoy the video!

  2. I watched the video and it looks very nice Denise. I’ve never been to Vegas but have heard of the hotel with the gondolas. I’ve also heard the shopping is great!

    1. Hi Joni, the shopping is insane. Designer stores on every corner it seemed..chanel, louis, ferragamo the list is endless. Vegas has become quite expensive…gone are the days of all you can eat for a few bucks….

      1. That’s too bad. It used to be a popular destination for Canadians to go to, and I had always heard the food was cheap. I don’t think I would be swimming in that pool in cool weather though!

      2. It seemed hard to find entrees under $50. But we were in the more expensive part of Vegas so there’s that….
