Summer is here, the kids are home and life is more relaxed. We get to sleep in late and take excursions during the day without constantly looking at the clock to keep pace with a schedule.
The summer season is a time to recharge from the hectic schedule of everyday life with kids. During the school year, life is filled with homework, activities, and the stress of keeping up with everything that needs to get done.
This summer will be filled with time at the beach, a few camps and just relaxing at home. My daughter will turn 16 at the end of the year, so I may even consider getting her a driver’s learners permit…but the thought scares me to death so I may hold off 🥺
Decorating our home for summer has been slow, we have had several projects going on that have taken longer than I had hoped. We started painting the foyer of our home and got through phase one. I am waiting for our painters to complete phase two and the last phase will involve new foyer lighting! Woo Hoo! 🙌
One of my favorite ways to display flowers is to line them up down the center of the table. I keep the arrangements low enough as not to interfere with conversations across the table. Using different jars and containers is a fun way to add interest to the table.
How do you like to display your flowers? Do you cut your own or use store bought ones?
