Easy peasy pumpkin squeezy! That’s my motto this year for Fall. Today, I’m sharing a few very easy ways to add a touch of Fall to your home in minutes.
If you’re a busy person, have a job, kids, and loads of responsibilities then you probably don’t have time to spend hours running around searching for great home decor. I get it…but you still want to bring the season inside your home. I’m going to make this easy for you…because I like easy too 🙂
Adding Fall Touches to a Family Room
In an earlier post HERE, I shared a few ways I added touches of Fall to our family room using a neutral decor. As much as I love neutral decor, I feel that during the holidays its okay to decorate each room with a different theme, we don’t have to keep the same neutral decor thorough out our home. Bring in all the rich Fall colors and get creative.
Mix up Your Pillows
If it’s a bit too early for real pumpkins, I decorate with faux -bringing out all the Fall decor I own including pillows, throws, pumpkins, candles, and fillers. I start switching out pillow covers and throws and pile all my “Fall colored” pillows on the sofa in our sunroom.
Add Dried Hydrangeas to a Vase
A few weeks ago, I cut some hydrangeas from my porch and allowed them to dry. You can read more about drying hydrangeas HERE. The greens, blues and reds are a beautiful combination and tie in well with the pillows. Don’t be afraid to mix and match pillows of different colors and styles, the variety makes for an interesting and alluring sofa.
Add Natural Elements to a Vase
Vase filler of red, brown, and yellow elements is an easy touch for the coffee table. You don’t have to spend any money on this one, go outside and grab leaves that are changing, acorns, or other Fall elements and add to a vase. If you struggle for ways to style a coffee table, check out my post HERE.
Fall Touches for a Powder Room
Moving onto the powder room, I added a couple Fall hand towels.
Add Fall Touches to the Kitchen
For the Kitchen, I used more of my pumpkins from years past.
Fresh baked good are a must during the Fall season, and the smell of pumpkin, vanilla, and cinnamon are a great way to bring the season into your home.
