Welcome to our home! I mean….our previous home. I’d like to invite you in for a private tour.
We lived in this beautiful house for 3 years. During that time, we were constantly renovating…..from top to bottom, over 80% of the home. As you go through this post, be sure to check out prior posts with plenty of “before” pictures.
We really enjoyed living in this house. The bones of the home are fantastic, but when we moved in, we knew it needed a special kind of love. We brought the beauty back to this home, and now another family can enjoy our labor of love. Read on, let me know what you think at the end of the post.
We started our whole house makeover by ripping out all the old hardwood flooring and added new wide plank maple hardwood throughout the home including the foyer, living and dining rooms, the sunroom, family room, kitchen area and upstairs. We replaced all lighting and painted the entire house…….that was just the beginning.
Foyer EntranceA foyer is the first space you see as you enter a home, and therefore this space is vital in appearance and lighting has a big impact. Read more about lighting impact (HERE).
