Nothing screams Spring more that vibrant fresh flowers! I can’t get enough of cut flowers, I love to have them in my house as often as possible. Flowers in my home make me happy.
I buy my fresh cut flowers from Costco. I feel they have the best value around, the selection is good and the flowers stay fresh longer than others place I have purchased.

One of my favorite spots for flowers is the dining table. Somehow, flowers on the table make food taste better! Anyone else notice that?
I put together a couple easy tablescapes for Spring I’d like to share with you.
The first step in creating a beautiful tablescape is to decide on your centerpiece. I had been looking for a pedestal bowl at different stores and couldn’t find what I wanted. I came across this beauty (at half price) at Pier One (HERE)! It does not disappoint! It is beautiful, very heavy, and has a cracked off white glaze. It is perfect for a large floral arrangement and looks stunning. It has marks on the bowl to give it an aged appearance and roses on the rim of the bowl.
For the first tablescape I want to showcase, I added my everyday plates and these beautiful Pearl napkins and napkin holders from Pier One (HERE) to the table.
The Pearl napkins are beautiful, they add that extra detail to the place setting and the table. I also bought the Queen Anne napkin holders from Pier One as well. While they are beautiful, I CAN NOT recommend them. They shed and leave little white flecks on the plate. Who wants that in their food? Sorry Pier One.
Another simple tablescape is pairing gold chargers with your everyday plates. Gold chargers add shimmer and glamour to any table. Pier One (HERE) has very pretty scalloped gold chargers (on my list for a future purchase). The pearl napkins are really pretty, they looked great with every place setting I tried, very versatile.
Have you thought about your Easter Table? Take a look for some simple ideas.
Looking for an original idea for Easter. How about a Moscow Mule Easter!? Pairing gold chargers, white plates and napkins and a lovely copper mug makes a gorgeous table! These mugs keep drinks hot or cold. They can be used for coffee or lemonade, very versatile. The dimpled design is beautiful and the gold handles look so elegant on the mug. I paired the setting with blush roses and it is stunning! Add some white candles and you have an elegant Easter table. An Easter table doesn’t always have to include bunnies and eggs.
I am crazy about these copper mugs from Pier One. Next on my list – the 94 oz Moscow Mule mug and stainless steel straws!
Thanks for stopping in. I hope I inspired you with these tablescape ideas. See you next time!
Love your ideas, very pretty. I love doing flower arrangement. Will be busy tomorrow doing some autumn floral arrengement with wild leaves. Keep up the good work!
I look forward to seeing your Fall arrangement!
Well, for this one, if only you will believe me, I am trying to do a quilting table cloth with the autumn colours. I ran out of some fabrics.. and the fabric market is far from me. I got another idea, I went down the charity shops and grab three men’s shirts of kind of stripy, check brownish colors to add to the rest of my pieces of fabric I have to complete this small project. And plus I am late to send my post to the blog. but never mind, it will come in another day or two.
