Is it really possible that another year has gone by already? Today, I am highlighting Happy Haute Home’s most viewed blog posts of 2018.
We have several posts that are popping up again this year that were on the Top Five Blog Posts of 2017. It also appears that home renovation posts continue to dominate the list.
Let’s take a look at the top posts of 2018, based on number of views. Coming in at Number 5 –
#5 Powder Room Remodel – Modern French Country Design (Final Reveal) This renovation of our powder room included relocating plumbing and electrical to make the room more functional and practical. Our goal was to give the space a modern feel but still bring in some rustic elements, you have to check out the before pictures…it’s quite a transformation.
#4 Modern Farmhouse Powder Room Remodel Using Planked Boards. This renovation done in 2016 of another powder room in our home was also quite a transformation from the original. We planked the walls with wood boards, added a new vanity, faucet, sink, mirror, toilet, and lighting. This renovation post was also in the top 5 posts of 2017. Our love affair with modern farmhouse decor is still going strong and continues to be a favorite style in the home decor industry.
#3 “Basement Bar Remodel” One Room Challenge (Week 6) “Final Reveal”. The renovation of our basement bar area was a big hit in 2018. This renovation included painting all the cabinets and walls, changing all the hardware, replacing glass cabinet inserts, and adding new lighting.
#2 Modern French Country Kitchen Renovation “One Room Challenge” Final Reveal. This post shows that kitchen renovations are still very popular and we are always looking for budget friendly ways to improve our spaces. This 2017 post is tied with the next one.
#2 New Fireplace Surround for the Family Room Again very popular in 2018, this 2017 post continued to dominate the blog in 2018. A completely remodeled double sided fireplace includes stacked stone, a reclaimed wood mantle, and planked boards completely changed the look of this fireplace.
And now for the Numero Uno Post of 2018…..Drum roll please!
#1 Stunning Modern Farmhouse Tour This post received over 10,000 views this year and is still going strong. It also continues to dominate my Pintrest page. Our love affair with modern farmhouse style is far from over and will continue well into next year.
Happy Haute Home grew 25% in viewership from 2017 to 2018. To date, Happy Haute Home has had over 90,000 views, and over 50,000 visitors, we look forward to continued growth in 2019.
