Christmas week and I’m still rolling out my holiday home.
This year feels more laid back and relaxed than prior ones. Not the normal hustle and bustle we have become accustomed to, but a more chill vibe…and I’m really liking it! 2020 has changed us in so many ways, maybe one of our takeaways will be to slow down and chill more at home…not because we’re told to but just because we want to, and it feels good.
Today I’m rolling out the decor in our family room. The room has been decorated for a while now, but I’m just getting around to posting about it! See…a new chill vibe going on over here at happy haute home…😎

Our Blush Family Room Reveal
You know how I have a crush on blush and Christmas time is the perfect time to add the soft touches of this gorgeous tone.
Blush Centerpiece or Centerpieces
We have not one but two blush centerpieces in our family room.
Faux florals have come so far the past few years and I just can’t pass them up when I see those soft tones. Can we talk about blush velvet please?! Oh bring it on! These poinsettias paired with pink hydrangeas and roses make me weak at the knees. They are just sooo pretty!! I mean…seriously!
Let’s talk about this tray for a moment. I am often asked where I got my lazy susan. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available but I found a similar one for you HERE.
A few blush baubles and snow create a little winter wonderland centerpiece on the tray…which spins btw so you can see all angles of the beautiful centerpiece!
I’m also quite taken with these blush cherry blossom stems and beautiful dahlias. All put together, they make an incredible and impressive centerpiece for Christmas and will stay well into the new year.
My pillows are from Home Goods and stay out all year long. They literally go with anything and go anywhere!! They are my most used and traveled pillows 🙂
Blush Flocked Christmas Tree
Our flocked christmas tree is 7.5 feet high and quite a stunner.
Decorated with blush ornaments and ribbon is all it needs. The tree speaks for itself and looks gorgeous sparsely decorated.
The kids were so excited to bring out the Christmas village. A collection of trees, music boxes, and churches make our children scream with delight. It’s their favorite part of Christmas decor.
Blush…quite a contrast to our red, green and white christmas kitchen but I love different themes throughout the home.
What do you think about blush for the holidays?
Have I overloaded you with pictures?! 🤣 I was just so tickled with this room, and found so many pretty angles..I was having a hard time sifting through the pictures…hope you are enjoying them.
We had our first snow fall this week and it was stunning. It’s been so cold and the snow has stuck around for several days. We may even have a white Christmas!! How incredible would that be?!
You can see more of our recent snow fall on my Instagram page. If you are not following along, I sure would love to have you..if you feel so inclined 🙂 If you use any of my suggestions in your home, please use the hashtag #happyhautehome so I can see it. Would love to see what you all are doing!
This brings us to the end of our family room tour. I hope to have given you some ideas for your happy haute home. Now, more than ever we are finding comfort at home..I sincerely hope and pray you love your home..because home is where our hearts are 😘
Merry Merry Christmas, Happy Happy Holidays and Happy Happy Hanukkah to all you beautiful people. May you have an amazing holiday with the ones you love!! I love and appreciate you all, and am so happy to have you in my life. Lots more to come in 2021!
