Christmas Eve Dinner and Tablescape 2021

It’s down to the wire now, are you ready for the Christmas Weekend?

I have been feeling behind for sometime now but managed to get everything done before the Christmas weekend arrived. The table is set for our family, the dinner menu prepared and the final details are all coming together.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day Tablescape

A very different tablescape from the regal blue I showed you in Our Kitchen Decorated for Christmas and the Holidays 2021.

For Christmas Eve, I brought in a gold velvet tablecloth. Do you like the new look?

It’s amazing that by just changing the tablecloth, a complete new look is created. The tones in the gold tablecloth are very pretty, more of a muted antique bronzy color instead of a mustard yellow.

Christmas Eve Dinner Ideas

The Christmas Eve dinner menu is planned. For appetizer, we will start with a cheese and meat sampling. Check out How to Make a Charcuterie Board – Step by Step Guide for further ideas.

For our dinner, I am making my Crock Pot Beef Brisket along with my favorite Creamiest and Dreamiest Mashed Potato Recipe. These 2 recipes are sure crowd pleasers and easy to prepare.

For dessert, my family always asks for The Very Best Strawberry and Cream Trifle. Loved by all, this creamy dessert is perfect and so delicious.
