Our home has been smelling so yummy lately with scents of the Fall season.
Our daughter was recently home visiting from college and she spoiled us with her own pumpkin bread recipe.
She added chocolate chips to the mix and it was well…different! Our son ate almost the whole loaf by himself (not all in one sitting) 🙂 He’s been working hard lately at exercising and watching his intake so the treat was well deserved.
Do you remember the apple topiary I recently made? Well, I couldn’t let all those red delicious apples go to waste, so I made pecan apple crisp for the family. We LOVE Pecans! If you do too, check out my Amazing Candied Pecan Recipe, so easy, delicious and makes a great snack.
This project was so fun. Starting with a fall centerpiece, then taking the apples and using them in recipes. Tomorrow, I’m going to make some apple butter! I plan to can a jar and save it for Thanksgiving Day.
This pecan apple crisp dish is so good. Perfect for the season as a treat or for the Thanksgiving table. A dish to be enjoyed by all. The pecans can be eliminated for those with allergies, and the recipe turns into a delicious apple crisp.
