Christmas Trends in 2025 – Christmas in July

Can you believe we are half way to Christmas? Feels like I was just putting away ornaments, wreaths and trees and now I’m thinking about my favorite time of the year again…and not sad about it either 🙂

Why do we love this special time of the year so much? Is it because it invokes feelings of nostalgia? Happy times in the past that we treasure and hold dear to our hearts? Whatever it is, I’m okay with those feelings and I embrace them.

Today, we will discuss trends that will popular in 2025. If you prefer to watch via video, please click HERE.

Nostalgic Revival

Vintage and retro-inspired decorations, including classic ornaments, heirloom pieces, and timeless patterns, are making a comeback. Bows will also be very popular this year.

For me, this one is easy, I adore classic Christmas and bring it out every year, trend or not.

Cheerful Traditional

Expect to see a lot of color, with inspiration from grandparents’ decorations.

Nature-Inspired and Sustainable Decor

Eco-friendly decorations using natural materials like wood, burlap, and dried oranges are popular. Also think pinecones, berries, and magnolia leaves are being incorporated into garlands and wreaths and trees.

Modern and Bold – Maximalist Trees

Trees adorned with layers of vibrant colors, oversized ornaments, and lavish ribbons are making a statement.

Metallic Accents

Disco balls, tinsel, and metallic-colored trees in gold, silver, champagne, or bronze are a major trend.

Jewel Tones and Bold Color Schemes

Emerald green, sapphire blue, amethyst purple, burgundy, and ruby red are popular for a refined look.

Neutral Color Palettes

Whites, creams, and soft grays are used to create a calm and inviting atmosphere.

Pink Christmas (Pinkmas)

Pink decorations, from soft pastels to vibrant shades, are trending, with fuchsia being particularly popular.

I hope this inspired you to think about Christmas and brought back some wonderful memories. What will your tree look like this year?
