Ben Affleck is selling his plantation home located in Hampton Island, Georgia. The mansion is a re-creation of a Southern antebellum Greek Revival Plantation home. The home is situated on 87 acres on the Georgia coast, and overlooks the North Newport River.
Ben’s home is listed with Engel & Völkers.
“The Big House” (the main residence) has 6000 square feet of living space.
I see Scarlett O’Hara walking down those stairs.
And sitting on the spacious front veranda waiting for Rhett.
Of course it has amazing views of the River.
The kitchen features a planked ceiling.
And the cabinets were designed to resemble those from the 18th century.
The home includes historically accurate architectural details like plaster moldings.
In addition to heart of pine hardwood floors, and 15′ ceilings.
I wonder if Jen decorated this home?
“The Big House” has 4 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms.
The second residence on the compound is “The Oyster House” a 10,000 sq. ft. rustic guest home.
The guest house has an open floor plan, wrap around balcony and exposed pine beams.
It has 6 bedrooms and 3 master suites.
The third home on the plantation is called “The Summer Cottage” – perfect for hosting outdoor feasts and entertaining best friend, Matt Damon.
The cottage has a huge fireplace and brick flooring.
The property also includes a large Pier.
Care to venture a guess on the price tag of this beauty? A cool $8.9M! Want to go in on it with me 😉
