Another low carb recipe coming your way. This time, Italian Stuffed Meatballs – KETO Style.
Being on the KETO diet has made me re-examine every bite of food I put in my mouth. When not on a diet regime, I constantly pick at snacks. If I piled together all the snacks I consume in a day, I bet it amounts to hundreds of wasted calories. But when I am on a diet regime, I think about everything I eat and make better food choices.
I have also noticed that when I work out, I am less likely to snack. After all, I have no excuse for not working out, we created a fabulous gym in our home HERE, I just need to use it more.
Fall will be here soon and the holidays not far behind, this is the time to get serious and shed some weight, come on join me in preparing some healthy low carb meals.
Ingredients:
10 oz. Ground Beef (80/20)
1/2 tsp. Oregano
1/4 tsp. Italian Seasoning
1 tsp. Minced Garlic
1/4 tsp. Onion powder
1 1/2 tbsp. Tomato Paste
1 1/2 tbsp. Flaxseed Meal
1 large Egg
1/4 cup Olives, sliced
1/4 cup Mozzarella Cheese
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire Sauce
Salt and Pepper to Taste
This makes 2 servings. Each serving is:
508.5 Calories, 40.25g Fats, 3.25g Net Carbs, 32.75g Protein.
Preheat oven to 400F. Mix meat together with all of the ingredients.
Form into meatballs. Lay on a foil covered or greased baking dish.
Bake for 16-20 minutes or until desired doneness is reached.
Serve over spinach with drizzled fat from the pan and 1 tbsp. fatty dressing.
