Christmas 2019 decor is all up and I am done!
Decorating this year has been really fun but I am happy to be finished and ready to put my feet up and enjoy the rest of the season 🙂
In the past years, the front of our home has received only a touch of love. Decorating the Front Porch for Winter 2018 was about as far as I went with the outdoors. This year, I stepped it up and actually decorated the main entrance to our home.
Our Home Exterior Modernization was my inspiration this year to add more Christmas touches to the outside.

Besides painting our brick, the front door and trim were painted this year and looks so much prettier than before. Adding a couple pops of red and some greenery give the space a festive vibe. My spiral topiaries are adorned with velvet ribbon and add so much to the space. They are permanent fixtures on my porch and look beautiful against the white tones of the home.
Live wreaths with red ribbon are attached to our black doors. If you are interested in making your own wreath, check out my Step by Step Tutorial – How to Make a Live Winter Wreath.
Another recent change we made to the front door was to add a RING doorbell. Having a live view of the front porch is so convenient and you get notified via your phone when someone comes to the door. You are able to see who is there and talk to them directly. The other day I was expecting a delivery prearranged for a certain time of day. The delivery men arrived early and I wasn’t home. I was notified via my phone and was able to talk to them, luckily I was close by and made it home but without the doorbell, I would have missed the delivery.

A light dusting of snow adds to the pretty white setting of the porch. Easy peasy front porch 2019 🙂

It’s lovely Denise! I really like the painted brick and the black doors. Do I remember you posting some time ago about painting the brick?
Hi Joni! We painted the brick last month, it looks so good! I love it and it turned out so well. Glad you like it too!
Beautiful Denise! I love the red with the black and white – really elegant! The doormat is too! Where did you get that one? Thanks as always for the eye candy and inspiration! 🙂
I’m so glad I inspired you 🙂 Frontgate is my go to for outdoor mats and much of my decor as well 😉
