A project that I started um…over a year ago! Yea, beginning of 2021, I was super motivated to organize our pantry and then our pool project started and everything else was left in the dust!
Does that sound familiar to any of you? Another priority comes up that takes all your time and focus and lesser important projects get put on the back burner. I even ordered all the bins I used in our panty reorganization a while back and they have been sitting in boxes 🙄…in the garage…annoying my husband. So it took my hubby to unbox the bins and pile them up in the mudroom for me to get this job done! And I’m so glad he did! Why did I wait so long?! Love the new look!
Let’s take a peek at what the pantry looked like before the reorg 🫣. As my kids would say…cringy 😳.
Pantry Organization – Before
Yellow walls, too many items piled on the floor and shelves stocked in a disorderly fashion.
I mean, the pantry is useable and all just not very attractive or inviting.
Pantry Organization – After
I love the look of our new pantry! The walls are painted the same color as our kitchen, for a seamless flow, since this room is located close by.
Everything has a home! Being homeless is no fun, and now our items are easily accessible and visually appealing.
Using a combination of x-small, small, medium and large bins to organize all of our food items has made this space so inviting 🙂
My daughter made all the labels for the bins using this marker.
These turn tables are a great addition to the corners of the shelves. The corners can be difficult to style but these tables are functional as well as attractive.
At the moment, I don’t have any bins or storage for our cans, but I plan to purchase this shelf to make is easier to see what we have in stock.
As you can see, we have way too many chips! These canisters would be great for chip storage too.
I’m so pleased with our newly organized pantry. It only took me 5 years to do (that’s when we moved into our home). I just needed the right motivation.

Oh that’s so pretty! I love the baskets with your crisp white walls – and your daughter’s labels are perfect. Maybe she could come write some for me next? 🤣 Thanks for inspiring me to get going with my storage areas too!
Hi Barbara, my daughter has better hand writing than me, so that was a big help! This task took me so long, hope you get yours done quicker…I’ll send my daughter to help!
