This low carb salad is full of zest. With the right amount of fresh squeezed lemon, kosher salt and fresh basil, it surely pleases the palate.
To prepare this simple salad you will need the following ingredients:
2 oz. Spinach
3 slices Cooked Bacon
1 tbsp. Mayonnaise
1 tbsp. Olive Oil
1 tsp. Lemon Juice
1 tbsp. Fresh Basil, chopped
1 oz. Mozzarella Cheese
Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Prepare the spinach by thoroughly washing it, or use pre-washed spinach. Separately combine the rest of the ingredients to make the dressing.
Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle cheese, I shredded fresh mozzarella. Crumble cooked bacon and spread over the salad.
This creamy dressing pairs perfectly with the bacon and mozzarella cheese. Enjoy!
