Easy Breakfast Ideas and Recipes

Banana Bread

Let’s start off with a basic Banana Bread Recipe. Using overly ripe bananas will give you the best tasting bread around. Check out my recipe for other great tips to make the most delicious banana bread.

Quiche Lorraine

Making quiche reminds me of my dad, his recipes were infamous. I picked up so many tips from Dad in regards to cooking and of course he made everything from scratch.

My Quiche Lorraine Recipe with a Kick uses a ready to bake crust for ease and has all the deliciousness of Dad’s recipe.

French Crepes

Another favorite recipe that reminds me of my childhood is The Perfect French Crêpe. Dad made the most delicious ones around and they were in high demand. Never refusing a request for crepes, our family has great memories of sitting round the table enjoying these light tasting delicacies.

French Toast

The perfect breakfast food that can be served with so many accoutrements. Strawberries, blueberries, bananas, maple syrup, pecans, walnuts and sugar to name a few. I hope you enjoy this French Toast Recipe as much as our family does.

Fresh Baked Homemade Bread Loaf

A staple to every family’s breakfast is a simple loaf of Homemade Bread. If you have never made your own bread, you will be surprised at how easy it is to make with only a few ingredients – and no bread machine necessary 😉

I’m also rounding up my favorite lighter breakfast dishes for those on a low carbohydrate diet. Here are my tried and true favorites.

KETO Recipes for Breakfast

Frittata Muffins

These tasty breakfast treats can quickly convert a carbohydrate lover with the promise of cream, bacon and eggs. My KETO Low Carb Recipe – Frittata Muffins are so good, it’s hard to limit yourself to only a couple.

Spinach, Mozzarella Cheese and Onion Omelette

This Vegetable Omelette is delicious. Spinach, melted mozzarella cheese and fried onions with a touch of cream make this breakfast recipe a go-to favorite.

Cauliflower Oatmeal

Cauliflower for breakfast? Why not? This vegetable is probably one of the most versatile around and can be used for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Adding cinnamon to this Cauliflower Oatmeal Recipe gives it the perfect sweetness while maintaining its KETO qualities.

Bacon, Red Pepper, and Goat Cheese Frittata

Bacon, bacon and more bacon. What’s not to love?! Add in goat cheese and we have a KETO lovers dream breakfast. This Frittata recipe with bacon, eggs, cream, goat cheese and a hint of basil is pure heaven and completely satisfying.

Maple Pecan Breakfast Bars

Pecans, coconut, and maple syrup make this KETO breakfast sweet and very satisfying.

My Maple Pecan Breakfast Bars are the real deal and you’ll see why once you take a bite 🙂

Bacon and Avocado Muffins

There is something healthy sounding about adding avocados to a muffin, no? I think the fat from the avocados balances out the bacon fat, right?! 😉

These Bacon and Avocado Muffins are the perfect low carbohydrate meal that satisfies and gives energy at the same time.

I hope you enjoy these recipes. Please drop me a line and let me know what you think.
